Mrs. McCarthy and Mr. Carty Get Tie-Dyed!

To celebrate the RBS Scholastic Book Fair success, fourth-grade students tie-dyed Principal Molly McCarthy and second-grade teacher Mr. Tom Carty. Our book fair generated $19,443.67 in gross sales. Approximately 3,889 books were sold, which equals 699,972 voluntary reading minutes for our school! This was a new record for RBS. RBS made a profit of $600 and the PTG made a profit of $4,600. We were able to donate $1,279 to classroom teachers and this was matched by Scholastic for students in less fortunate schools.
