RBS Students Participate in Google Expeditions!
Today RBS students in grades 2, 3, and 4 took virtual field trips to the Great Barrier Reef, the rainforest, Ellis Island, they went on an ocean safari, and visited US Monuments and national parks all across the United States! Students participated in Google Expeditions using a Google Cardboard Viewer.
Google Expeditions allows teachers to take their classes on virtual field trips, immersing students in experiences that bring abstract concepts to life and giving students a deeper understanding of the world beyond the classroom. These trips are collections of virtual reality panoramas — 360° photo spheres, 3D images and video, as well as ambient sounds. Check out our pictures and videos!
