RBS Food Drive
In an effort to share our good fortune with those less fortunate, the staff and students of Riddle Brook School are planning a food drive to benefit New Horizons Food Pantry. Local pantries are in desperate need, and depend entirely on volunteer help and donations from people of good will. If you have any extra canned goods at your home, and would like to contribute them to this cause, beginning, Monday, November 1st, please have your child bring them to the front hall at Riddle Brook School, and place them in the boxes provided. In addition to canned goods, the following items are also suggested: bars of soap, toothpaste, combs, powdered milk, macaroni & cheese, pasta, coffee, instant potatoes, stuffing, cereal and canned juices. Dessert items such as cookies, cake, brownie mixes, pudding, Jell-O and frosting are other suggestions. On Tuesday, November 24th the boxes will be donated as a contribution from the Riddle Brook School community. Therefore, we will need all donations by Friday, November 20th. Our Principal’s Advisory Group will be organizing and packing the donations on Monday, November 23rd.
