New Playground…FINALLY!

Great news!  After four plus years of raising funds to replace our current playground structure, we are finally ready to move forward this fall!

This Saturday, August 29^th, we have gathered a group of volunteers, including students from Bedford High School, to work with representatives from an organization called Kids Around the World.  We will be donating our structure to this organization, which provides safe playground equipment to children in developing countries.  

Our contractor has informed us that they will be installing our new playground the week of September 21^st.  Our students will still go outside for recess in the interim.  Mrs. Duhaime and Mr. Skull (PE Intern) will have extra balls and equipment for the children to use, and Mr. Skull will be facilitating some recess games with the students.  However, we will be having indoor recess for the duration of the installation (roughly 3-5 days).
